It's Time to Write Your Brave Book. The World Needs Your Story!

What you should expect when joining our program:

9 months of writing & growing

We dedicate this time to master your style and method of writing with the goal of getting your first draft manuscript finished and ready for an editor’s eyes. We’ll meet 3-4 times each month. All calls will be recorded. You can send questions ahead of time to be answered on the call in case you have to miss one.

Capitalizing your business growth

Writing your book is one big goal. The other is to ensure your business is ready to handle the success. This program will prepare and enable you to write a successful book. This is the part most book-writing programs don’t include, yet it’s one of the things that ensures success when you’re done writing! You'll enjoy three bonus business sessions to prepare you!

Joining a community of invested writers

Writing together is writing better. We invest the time and energy to foster a supportive community with authors who will support your journey. Having friends who will read your work, give you feedback, help you proof, and support your book launch is priceless. This community is going to be amazing!

WHAT NOT TO EXPECT

Our program is not:

A publishing course

But heads up - I’ll be gifting you with many bonuses, one of them being a special self-publishing workshop. If you’re interested in publishing with Brave Healer Productions when your book is finished, I’ll send you information on that, too!

Professional editing

You’ll be learning badass self-editing techniques. I will offer some limited editing to the group at a steep discount. But this program isn’t going to provide personal editing for your project. You’ll want to hire an editor when your manuscript is complete and I know some awesome editors!

Facebook Group Access

We’ll do some sharing, office hours, and other writing support. This will be the place to ask questions, get support, and form writing buddies and groups.

Session Schedule

If it’s not scheduled, it’s not real. Writing a book is a commitment you must prioritize on your calendar.

When you receive the schedule, please protect the time. A Google Calendar invite will be sent to everyone to make that easy - but if you don’t use Google Calendar, please spend some time calendaring all sessions!

Our session schedule varies depending on the week and month. You can expect the main content sessions (Some on Wednesdays, and some on Thursdays) from 1-3 pm Eastern (usually).

There are Q&A and coaching sessions (mostly on Friday mornings Eastern).

All calls are recorded and sent out to you. So if you can’t make a session, protect the time on your calendar as soon after the call as possible to watch the replay. I will send replays by the next morning eastern time.

NOTE: The schedule is subject to change. I ask for your grace and flexibility as the year rolls out. It’s a small miracle to schedule an entire year program. There will most likely be some changes as we go; I will do my very best to minimize those.

Go through the following checklist to get the most out of this program.

Let's hear your story

Sit at your computer and type out "the story of your life.” You can pick ANY topic that you can write forever about:

Set a timer for 20 minutes and type continuously. Once the timer goes off, you’ll have the number of words you can write in 20 minutes. Multiply that number by three, and you’ll have (approximately) the number of words you can type in an hour. You’ll use this to help you meet your writing goals and calendar extra writing time during the year.

Equipment Check

Make sure your computer and other equipment is ready and updated. If you haven’t updated the operating system on your computer in a while, or are due for a new one, now’s the time to do that! Great, perfectly-working equipment is a foundation for a great process!

Start Today

Open up a new document on your computer and title it “MY BOOK.” Open up a second document on your computer and title it “MY BOOK OUTLINE and TABLE OF CONTENTS.” Voila! You have started writing your book! These will be the two places we begin writing at the end of March/beginning of April.
