Influential confidence is a combination of grounded-in-calm purpose and conscious authenticity, out loud, in-the-moment, when the moment presents itself, you’re awake to it, and you were born to heal the world.
And I’m saying it’s a sign of enlightenment. It’s a final knowing. Something you can’t run away from.

My voice is strong this morning. I call her Martha.

I’d like to tell you a little story of a woman who met Carlos Santana in a grocery store. You know Carlos right, the rockstar legend? Okay, just checking that my millennials have clicked off by now. (Just kidding, I love you guys…but if you don’t know who Carlos Santana is, we need to talk)
I did wake up with words coming this morning. Today they were in the form of a poem, a story about this woman. Maybe you know her?
A know a woman who’s arrived in her skin
a talented
ferociously beautiful
intelligent woman
who’s finally recovered her worth
and knows who she is
This woman enjoyed
a simple moment
with a rockstar
in a grocery store.
You know
one of those normal moments
As she stepped up to him
in all her fierce calm
and grace
she gave him a gift
which he received
with his hands on his heart
Before she left
she looked up to his eyes
as his head lifted from a bow
and saw herself
a rockstar
a legend…an artist…a healer
She knew right then
all she was
all she was meant to be
all she was born for…
that the gift she gave was her
and it was time to spread it like wildfire…
…The world would never be the same.
This is you.
