  • Transcending Your Own Bullshit – A Kick in the Ass for my Fellow Light Workers

You know how they say if you get fed up enough with your own bullshit you’ll make a change? I’m fed up. And I’m fed up with my light worker colleagues bullshit too. We are so damn awesome, lit up, and ready to help heal the world you could fry an egg on our third eyes. Only we have these stories, that we tell ourselves, about why we’re not there yet, why we’re not good enough, and/or why we need another six months to get our shit together.

I’m sick of my own unworthiness. The work of a light worker goddess, my work, the work of many friends of mine, is needed so much right now we can’t afford to take another year to find ourselves or our self esteem or dilly dally with our purpose. Time to level up people. I’m done wondering if this’s the work I’m supposed to do. It is. And it is for you too. Let’s do this for once and stop letting all the excuses, fear, mind fucks, sad stories of our pasts and our own unconsciousness get the better of us.

You know what makes you good enough to do the healing work of the world? Your desire. That’s all you need. You don’t need to take one more course. You don’t need to get one more degree. You don’t need to read one more book or listen to one more podcast. All you need to do is know what you want to do and go ahead and fucking do it. You don’t need anyone to tell you you’re good enough to do it. You don’t need to pass any test. All you need is the desire and some kickass action taking.

I’m swearing a lot. That’s what happens when the fed-up-ness gets to me. But how else am I going to convince my fellow badass goddess light workers it’s time they be fed up with their own bullshit too?

I’m even sick of the “healing journey.” Oh, you bet I just said that. “What? Warrior goddess of healing, what are you telling me? That the healing journey is bullshit?” Well, not bullshit, but here’s the thing…we can even get stuck in the healing journey. We can get wrapped up in the feelings to a point of stuckness, and instead of taking the action we need to make a change, we get stuck in the pit and start to believe there must be many more layers we need to heal before we go try and help the world heal.

NO.

The journey is about the healing work, yes, but you better give your desires, dreams, purpose and passion as much air time as your woes, pain, and feeling. More actually. Please, go for some joy. Do the thing you’re afraid to do while you get the healing done. Guess what? You CAN do both at the same time.

Go for the bliss. You’re worth it. Stop with your whining about why you’re not. You were born. So you’re worth it. Stop forgetting it. Stop getting in your own way. Just stop. Stop thinking too much and adding mental baggage to your baggage. You want a change. Go make a change. Think differently. Believe differently. Act differently. Be afraid, and do it anyway.

It’s time we do this. We need to stop talking about doing it and do it. Go write your fucking book. Go post your badass blog. Go tell your friends what you’re up to and ASK for their support. Don’t attach to any outcome, ever. Ride the waves that come at you like a pro surfer….using each moment as a stepping stone, whether it looks “bad” or “good.”

Don’t judge the life that the Universe throws at you. Your only job is to live the life you want to live and let the Universe support your amazing thoughts, dreams and desires. The way it supports you might not be the way you expected. Get over it and keep moving. Recognize the gift in the crappy hand you’re dealt. Recognize the “win” might not be what you expect.

We already have the most important tool on this journey; awareness. We’re not so practiced at the second most important; action. We’re afraid. We believe old stories about ourselves that someone else made us believe. We’re doubtful, ashamed, scared, unworthy and otherwise paralyzed by stuff we’re making up in our own heads. The moment you have is now. And right now, you’re a badass light worker that’s here to heal the world. Please do that.

Be done with the crap and please, for Goddess sake – shine your light and don’t look back. Don’t apologize for who you are, what turns you on, what you like to talk about, your dreams, desires or goals. They’re yours. Own them.

I hope you’re ready. I hope your as fed up as I am with the feelings of unworthiness. I hope you’ll get mad as Hell – mad enough to do something about it for once.

Yours always, with warrior love,
Laura

And if you’re fed up like me, tell me about it in the comments…I’d love to feel the vibe of my tribe right now.
