I pay attention to stuff like repeating numbers and animals showing up on my path; specifically birds. I’m not sure when I realized these signs from the universe were giving me messages, but when I did, life became totally fucking magical; like I had access to a special hotline to The Universe. Is this a little too “Woo” for you? Well, part of my mission is to wake you up to the magic that could change everything.
You don’t have to believe in signs. But if you haven’t been told about the special meaning in repeating numbers or the messages in animals and insects, you have no more excuses. You can read a bit about repeating numbers: HERE. And the book in the photo is excellent for animal messages. You can read about that stuff HERE.
So…I’m on a run this morning and as usual, my mind is running with me, working shit out, asking questions to The Universe, ranting about things it doesn’t like and making frequent attempts to replace those complaints with gratitude. My morning clients cancelled last minute and at one particular moment, about 3/4 the way through my run, I stopped in the middle of thinking about my business and how it wasn’t what I needed it to be and thought, FUCK, COME ON! Meaning, come on Universe, I’m trying here, I’m trying to make a living, follow my passion, do good in the world, etc…
At the EXACT same moment those words were dancing in my head, the doubt and fear threatening to make me crazy, I looked at the ground and saw this:
Your average non-woo Joe would not pay any attention to the pretty feather lying on the ground. Average Non-woo Joe would have kept running up the hill looking at his watch the whole time and try to beat his last run time. But me? I pay attention to this stuff. So I stopped, picked up the feather and laughed out loud. What does the feather mean to me? “You’re okay,” “Everything’s on track,” “Keep doing what you’re doing.” Repeating numbers send me a similar message.
Mind you – this’s coming from a gal who’s got a feather tattoo on her arm with the initials YFIB (Your fear is boring) to remind her to continue to take risks toward joy. Thanks Liz Gilbert -I’ll never have regrets about this tattoo. Am I a little over the top when it comes to this stuff? Sure. And proud of it. Life became magical when I followed the signs, let them mean good things and let them inspire me to continue following my joy. Otherwise what? Get sucked into the pit of doubt and fear so often I give up and get a “regular” job? No.
I’d rather pay attention to the signs. And once you’re awake to that magic, believe me, they’re everywhere. I remember my coach Torrie teaching me how to pay attention, how to listen to the signs, not only the external messages, but the more important internal ones; my intuition. She taught me about clairvoyance, claircognizance, and some other kinds of clair that I’d never heard of before. I knew it was real, I just hadn’t had any taste of it before. I was hungry for someone to help me believe before I saw – the trick to ALL the magic.
I’m one of those people who knows things. I can’t pretend to tell you how I do. But I do know it’s real and I trust it now. Why’s this important? Because it’s the way you feel that’ll give you the answers to any question you have about your life. And don’t you think having your own personal psychic is dope? It is. And you have one. It’s a matter of turning that on, tuning in and aligning with that part of you.
When I “shouted” at The Universe this morning, “FUCK, COME ON!” And the feather appeared, sort of in an in my face kind of way, I had to laugh. I remember Torrie telling me that sometimes we have to get badass on our guides. Sometimes we need to let them know we’re ready and not playing around anymore. Sometimes we have to find a way to ask for what we need in a way that lets them know we’re not going to tolerate some kind of wishy washy answer.
This morning I got my sign. You’re okay. Everything’s on track. Keep doing your thing, warrior woman. Keep doing your thing.
Join me in the comments and tell me about the signs you get. What’s the way The Universe talks to you?
