It Takes a Warrior Soul

The Warrior Journal project has been INCREDIBLE. If you are just joining me and don’t know how this was all born, back when Warrior Love, A Journal to Inspire Your Fiercely Alive Whole Self came into the world, then you can read about some of that back story HERE.

But today I want to celebrate and thank the co-contributors of the newest creation, Warrior Soul, A Journal to Inspire Your Fiercely Alive Whole Self. This is the third (and final?) journal in a series of three and has 29 contributing poets and artists, including my daughter Danielle who drew the eyes on the front cover of the journal!

After mingling in my Facebook group, When Your Soul Speaks, and realizing that I had so many talented writers and artists playing with me there, I decided to open up Warrior Soul to submissions. The more creativity, the better! Soon I had many emails from amazing poets, artists and all around badass world changers. I knew that this new journal was going to be special.

I’ve learned that when you write, or paint, the energy with which you do that creating matters. I could tell that Warrior Soul was going to be out-of-this-world because I could feel the energy of the art and poetry coming my way – I could feel the warrior souls of the people who were submitting. This was going to be one kick-ass collaboration!

I have a unique way of thinking and talking about being a warrior. If you’re interested in more of those ideas, read my blog, Who is a Warrior?  Every single person who’s a part of this new journal is a warrior. In fact, we’re all warriors in our own lives in some way or another. I wanted to create a place, a paper journal, where people could be inspired to heal by writing the messages they hear when their souls speak. Warrior Soul is that journal.

Thank you so much to the incredible group of people who put a part of their heart and soul into these pages. Please click on their names to enjoy exploring their websites and beautiful offerings.

Atousa Raissyan, Jeanette MacDonald, and Mary Claire were the first three brave souls who said yes to the Warrior Journal project and created Warrior Love with me.
